"To drive building performance, we close the knowledge gap between operational data and management decisions by providing greater visibility into equipment effectiveness and energy use."
Dimax Building Performance began as a technology company some 30 years ago, based on its development of an advanced DDC system and software. The company evolved into a full service Building Automation and Control system organization, delivering hundreds of control systems to buildings throughout the world. As a result of this knowledge and experience we recognized building management required deeper visibility into their management decisions to help increase accountability and drive building performance.
At the beginning of the new millennium, we acknowledged that control systems were becoming a commodity and that our expertise could be better applied to taking data from building management systems and using it to provide the deeper visibility required by building managers. It soon became apparent simple data collection was insufficient – building managers had a knowledge gap where they needed help converting operational data into information to support their management decisions. They requested help translating data into meaningful information that would assist them to drive improved performance. We also realized that long-term sustainable improvements in building performance would require more than just an advisory role. We needed to be part of the operations team, putting approved recommendations into action.
Today, by combining our knowledge and experience with building operations, HVAC equipment and building automation systems, Dimax Building Performance closes the knowledge gap through a disciplined performance improvement process. By integrating a systematic, analytical measurement and verification process, proprietary technology and a willingness to take a hands-on role, we help real-estate, property and facility managers drive building performance in a highly visible and accountable manner.
