Some managers would prefer to analyze their own data from their building automation systems, utility meters and other intelligent devices located in their buildings. For these managers our Data Collection service leverages our proprietary, web-based iDimax and Energy Trakker technologies to provide a low cost, software-on-demand service which acquires data from any data source with a published protocol (BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, HTTP, ASCII serial, etc.).

Our Data Collection service is compatible with the majority of smart meters, building automation systems, and intelligent devices on the market today, making it effective in most building types. Using our Tier One Data Centre and comprehensive Oracle database the service is able to capture at regular intervals (e.g., 5 minute) and store vast amounts of data, providing building managers ready access to their data. This enables them to conduct their own analysis and recommendations.

This service is an excellent entry level solution for building managers to drive their own building performance initiatives, and provides a solid platform from which they can elevate to the full Building Performance service should they choose to do so in the future.
